Pregnancy Resource Center of Charlotte is a non-profit, Christian ministry serving women in crisis pregnancies and women who need support after a crisis pregnancy. Accurate information, emotional support from caring volunteers and staff, practical assistance in dealing with difficult circumstances, and prayer are all woven together to minister to over 3000 women each year in the Charlotte area. The services the center provides include: - crisis pregnancy intervention and ongoing supportive peer counseling
- pregnancy testing
- information and counseling on pregnancy-related issues, fetal development, abortion procedures and risks, and alternatives to abortion
- support groups and classes through the HOPE program, in English and Spanish
- maternity and infant boutiques stocked with items donated by the community
- post-abortion Bible study and support groups
- a medical clinic limited to pregnancy confirmation exams and ultrasound
- A Father's Place — mentoring and instruction for expectant fathers during the pregnancy
Services are free to clients and their families because of the support of individuals and local churches.
