What does the Bible say about money? Come find out at Calvary's next Crown Financial class. This small group study explores what Scripture has to say about getting out of debt, spending, saving, investing, budgeting, giving, work, and teaching children about money. Most graduates of the class confirm that it is "not what they expected," because it deals with more than simply money. Get ready to have your values and lifestyle challenged! Crown Financial's most recent survey reveals that typical participants reduce their debt, increase their savings, increase their giving, and strengthen their marriages during and after taking the class. We will learn a biblical approach to creating a spending plan, establishing a debt reduction plan, and managing resources through practical exercises and accountability. - You'll learn to be a faithful steward by reducing debt, saving, spending wisely, and teaching your children to do the same
What is expected? - Interactive discussion in class (though no personal financial information is shared)
- 1-2 hours of homework per week
- Participate in practical application exercises which help you live out what you are learning
- Memorize Scripture each week
- Share prayer requests and prayer in class
