“If therefore you have not been faithful in the use of worldly wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you?” Luke 16:11. Our Calvary family is generous and active in stewardship in many ways: Money and Materials – Giving back to God is part of our heart worship – we see all our possessions as given by Him and belonging to Him. We show our love and obedience to God by giving back with a joyful attitude. Our material wealth is in our hands temporarily – God desires we be good stewards of all He provides. Time – We serve Christ publicly – through organized church missions, events, and activities – and privately, when no one is looking. Calvary is an active church with many opportunities to serve in ministry. We seek to serve in local, regional and international missions, reaching out to those those in our congregation, our community, and our world who are in need. Talents – We believe each of us is able to express spiritual gifts in Christ’s service. Calvary Church operates with hundreds of active ministry volunteers. With more than 100 ministries, there’s no shortage of places to serve. Where it Goes Calvary is a non-profit organization. Financial gifts are provided in three main avenues. First, there are regular tithes and offerings received weekly during worship. This money flows to the church General Fund and is used to support Calvary ministry. From time to time, Calvary may have over and above offerings designated for special projects, events, or funds.
