Welcome to the Serving Center! We seek to serve Christ by serving others — through ministry at church, service in our community, and reaching out around the world.

Almost all of Calvary's 100+ ministries offer opportunities for volunteer service. Please check the "Top 10 List" below. Click the "By Ministry" tab to see opportunities by area; or click "View all" to see the full list of needs.

Feeding the Homeless

Opportunity Description: You or your small group may volunteer to help cook, load and transport, or serve meals every Saturday morning. Meals are served at the Uptown Shelter or on the streets.

Details - Date, Time, Location: We meet year-round every Saturday morning.
To help cook: 6:30 AM Calvary Kitchen , 3rd floor
To deliver/serve meals: Depart Galleria by 8:00 AM; return by 10:30 AM

Commitment: Open — Ranges from one time event to as often as available.

Qualifications:
  • Willingness to serve others and share Christ's love
  • SUVs with trailor hitches are also needed to transport supplies
