    Pastor of College Ministry
    Full-Time

    Summary: This full-time position is responsible for modeling what it means to be an authentic follower of Jesus Christ at home, at church, and in the community. He must demonstrate a firm commitment to the Calvary Articles of Faith, Mission & Purpose, and Philosophy of Ministry and commit to praying for Calvary Church and Calvary College Ministry.

    The Pastor of College Ministry will oversee all aspects of the College Ministry at Calvary Church, including ministering to Calvary students who are studying or working outside the Charlotte area. He must be committed to working and serving as a team player alongside the other Calvary pastors and ministry leaders. The Pastor of College Ministry is expected to serve in other ways and fulfill other duties (such as pastoral visitation, counseling, and weddings) as assigned.

    Accountability: The Pastor of College Ministry will be accountable to the Senior Pastor or his designate.

    Qualifications:  Seminary degree (M.Div. or Th.M.) from a conservative seminary. He must demonstrate reasonable skills in leadership, administration, and time management. He must be able to act quickly and efficiently with a minimum of supervision.

    CCDC Director
    Calvary Child Development Center
    Full-Time

    Calvary Church seeks a Director for the Calvary Child Development Center, our licensed childcare facility. The Center offers full-day and half-day preschool programs for about 300 children through transitional kindergarten. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic leader passionate about early childhood Christian education. 

    Candidates should:

    • Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to upholding the Calvary Articles of Faith and Mission Statement
    • Be able to provide spiritual guidance, coaching, professional development, and staff assistance
    • Possess strong administrative and management skills
    • Exhibit professionalism in presentations and interactions with others
    • Cultivate and sustain relationships with parents, fostering a positive and supportive community
    • Ensure the execution of age-appropriate curriculum complies with North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development and CCDC developmental and learning goals
    • Adhere to regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
    • Work with the assigned State Consultant on annual facility compliance inspections

    Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field and at least 3–5 years of management/leadership and administrative experience in a licensed childcare facility. Must be a member or willing to become a member of Calvary Church.

    IT Director
    Full-Time

    Summary: This full-time position will provide leadership in the area of Information Technology based on extensive knowledge and experience to best serve the overall ministry of Calvary Church. Responsible for administering and proactively maintaining Calvary information technology while analyzing, developing, and implementing goals for future growth and overseeing the budget. Will provide leadership to other staff and outside vendors. Candidate should demonstrate a firm commitment to the Calvary Articles of Faith, Mission & Purpose, and Philosophy of Ministry.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field with a minimum of ten years of IT experience in a Microsoft, 50+ user, multi-platform environment.
    • Ability to perform typical advanced server and network administration skills, including upgrades and maintenance of hardware, operating systems, LAN, WLAN, DNS, TCPIP, WINS, and DHCP support functions.
    • Demonstrate competence in user administration, firewall, router, and switch configuration, WLAN, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft O365, Dell, Fortinet and Watchguard servers, switches, and firewalls.
    • Knowledge and experience in connectivity and communications protocols are critical.
    • Experience with cabling systems, hubs, switches, and routers.
    • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of antivirus advancements, as well as phishing and other cyber security hazards and proactive employee training practices.
    • Strong working knowledge of Mac computers and Apple products.
    • Solid experience with backup and security best practices for cloud-based systems and their bearing on network security.
    • Must be a member or willing to become a member of Calvary Church.

    Calvary Café Manager
    Full-Time

    Calvary Café Manager — Full-Time

    Summary: The full-time position will oversee all aspects of food service provided by the Calvary Café and will organize and manage the daily operations and staff of the café while maintaining a welcoming Christian atmosphere with outstanding customer service.

    Must be able to lead, train, manage, and motivate the café staff. Will handle inventory and orders, successfully manage finances for profitability, and foster customer engagement. Will maintain a professional demeanor and facilitate open communication with co-workers, ministry volunteers, and the congregation. Must demonstrate a commitment to the Calvary Articles of Faith, Mission & Purpose.
     

    Qualifications:

    • Extensive hands-on food service experience
    • Strong customer service skills
    • ServSafe certification required
    • Work experience as a Café Manager or Barista
    • Experienced with professional coffee machines
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and math skills
    • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
    • Availability to work during café hours of operation, including weekends and some holidays
    • Minimum of a high school diploma / additional Hospitality or Business Administration certification preferred
    • Calvary membership or willingness to become a member

    Discipleship Administrative Assistant
    Full-Time

    Summary:  Calvary has an opening for a full-time Discipleship Ministry Administrative Assistant.

    This full-time position supports the Pastor of Discipleship Ministry. Responsibilities include coordinating the logistics and attendance for Wednesday Electives and Adult Life Groups on Sunday mornings, plus additional duties as assigned. Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate well with others.


    Qualifications

    • A bachelor's degree is preferred, with a minimum of a high school diploma. Must have administrative/office experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Requires the ability to learn Calvary's church management software and systems, including ACS, E-Space, and Fellowship One.

    • Must be a member or willing to become a member of Calvary Church.

    4s & 5s Coordinator
    & Program Registrar 

    Children's Ministry
    Full-Time

    Summary: There is an immediate opening for a full-time Children's Ministry 4s & 5s Coordinator and Registrar. The candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, computer skills (Microsoft Office, including Excel), and the ability to provide leadership and coordination for Sunday ministry and major Children's Ministry programs and events. Coordinator responsibilities include planning Sunday lessons, crafts, and activities for kids ages 4 and 5, working with volunteer leaders, and interacting with families. Registrar responsibilities include managing online registrations, lists, and data for ministry events and programs. Sunday hours are required.

    Qualifications: Commitment to the Calvary Articles of Faith, Covenant of Service, Mission, and Philosophy of Ministry. Must have an evident and strong walk with the Lord, a passion for serving, and a desire to work with children. Calvary membership preferred or willingness to become a member.

    Audio Technical Assistant
    Part-Time

    Summary:  This part-time (6–8 hours per week, 3 weeks per month) position will assist and operate the sound, lighting, and video on the Calvary campus. The individual will also develop and work with a team of volunteers, and help with the planning/coordination of all the technical needs for the worship services and other campus ministries. 
     
    Works under the supervision of the Technical Director and is responsible for setups and other tasks to prepare for weekend services and special events, including preparing media. Organizes and maintains technical equipment. Must be detail-oriented, able to troubleshoot technical issues, and available during Sunday services and weekly Wednesday night rehearsals. Additional duties may be assigned by the Technical Director, Pastor of Worship, or other designee. 

    Qualifications: Strong background in audio — understanding and knowledge of analog and digital consoles and live mixing experience. Knowledgeable in digital audio production, stage lighting, set design, and live video production. Experience with video/lighting systems, non-linear editing, and studio mixing. Commitment to Calvary’s Calvary Articles of Faith, Philosophy of Worship, and Philosophy of Ministry. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred; proven ministry experience is required.

    Fitness Instructor
    CHAMP Sports | Part-Time

    CHAMP Sports Outreach has an immediate opening for a part-time Fitness Instructor for adult group exercise classes.

    This instructor will teach a cardio class in the Calvary Life Center once a week from 10:00–11:00 AM and have the opportunity to sub when needed. 

    Qualifications: Applicants must have prior fitness experience and be a member or regular attendee of Calvary Church.
