Jorge joined the Calvary staff in 2000. He first came to know Christ as a young man in his native country of Brazil. He began pastoring a church in Brazil in 1967 and was ordained into the ministry in 1972. He later came to New York, where he helped pastor several churches in the NY/ NJ area.

Pastor Prado served as a Family Counselor for 20 years at the Pastoral Counseling Center of Flushing, NY and Kearny, NJ, where he was one of its founders. He is a graduate of Baptist Bible College and Baptist Theological Seminary and Regular Baptist Seminary in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He also completed post-graduate studies from the Mental Health Center of Yachiva University, in New York City.

Jorge has been married to Vilma for over 30 years. They have one daughter, Vilma Regiane Da Silva Prado and four grandchildren: Eric, Vanessa, Anthony, and Victoria.
