Caring for orphans in their distress… — James 1:27

Did you know there are over 143 million orphans worldwide — enough children to fill Calvary's sanctuary 26,000 times? In the United States alone, 500,000 children are currently in foster care. Within Mecklenburg County alone, 1200 children are in foster care; 110 children are available for adoption.

Calvary's HOME (Hearts for Orphans Ministering for Eternity) Ministry seeks to obey God's Word by ministering to those who are orphaned, abandoned, or fatherless.

The HOME Ministry is comprised of three main channels:
• Orphan Care    • Foster Care    • Adoption Support

These channels include prayer support, educational resources, sponsorship, missions trips, and other practical means of providing aid to orphaned children.
