God calls each of us to serve Him by sharing our faith in Jesus Christ with others. His Word tells us to "Go and make disciples." Calvary Church will answer that call by providing several evangelism opportunities in 2010.
Evangelism Calling Team
Our church is blessed with many guests each week. The Evangelism Calling Team will make calls to welcome guests to Calvary, answer questions, and offer an invite to return.
Evangelism Visiting Team
On Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM our Evangelism Visiting Team members will assemble in room 227. Teams will be formed and be off to visit a new family with a gift of homemade cookies, information about Calvary Church, and the Gospel. Teams will return by 8:00 PM for a brief time of reporting and celebration. Evangelism Cookie Team
There is nothing that gains a visiting team acceptance more that a batch of homemade cookies! We need volunteers to bake cookies for our visitation teams. Cookies are to be baked, packaged, and delivered to room 227 on Wednesday evening by 6:00 PM. Visiting may not be your gift, but God can use your baking skills to help us share the Gospel. Evangelism Prayer Team
Everything we do here at Calvary Church must be bathed in prayer! We realize that when we pray, God unleashes His supernatural power. As our teams visit on Wednesday evening, we are looking for those that will pray for them. The prayer team will gather at 6:30 PM for prayer. The Evangelism Prayer Team will pray for guests and our prayer teams as they visit. The prayer team will gather with the Visiting Teams at 8:00 PM for a time of reporting and celebration. Decision Time Prayer and Counseling Team
The Spirit of God has really been moving during our worship services. Each Sunday, we see friends come to the altar for prayer and a time of decision. We would like to place Christian brothers and sisters along side them during that time. If you are willing to join us at the altar to pray or counsel a friend, please become a part of our Decision Time Prayer and Counseling Team. Training will be provided.
