Working for the Glory of God
Room 234 • Steve Garofalo & Leon Tuttle
God's own work includes the marvelous design of creation and plan of redemption. People work in similar ways - we are to be stewards of His creation, and we are ambassadors of Christ, pursuing all our endeavors "heartily, as for the Lord" (Colossians 3:23). Yet many people still struggle in their jobs , wondering, "Am I in the right job? What is God's purpose in my job? How do I become an influence for Christ at work? How do I work with toxic coworkers or a difficult boss?" We'll discuss these practical questions and many more, as we discover that we work not simply for the paycheck but truly for the glory of God.

Encounters with Nameless Women
Room 238 • Mitzi Koch
Through His earthly ministry, Jesus met several ordinary women whom the Bible leaves unnamed - but they teach us nonetheless what it means to be transformed by an encounter with Christ. Their stories reveal how God develops human character into Christ-like character. We'll observe how Jesus showed His love to each one, and we'll reflect on ways our lives can change with His touch.

The Truth Project
Room 240 • Chuck Robinson
Recent studies reveal that only 9% of professing Christians truly have a biblical worldview! Today's believers often live very similarly to non-believers. We spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy, and we wonder about life's ultimate purpose. We are, in short, losing our bearings as a people and a nation. To counter this slide within the body of Christ, Focus on the Family developed The Truth Project, a series of lectures by Del Tackett, which helps believers develop a biblical worldview that stands counter to secular culture. This class will be a combination of DVD lecture and discussion.

Team Evangelism
Room 228 • Pastor Jim Cashwell
Calvary is a growing church! Some guests come at the invitation of a friend. Others visit because of our location or our reputation. Still others visit because of a crisis in their lives. Whatever the reason, Calvary Church must obey Jesus' command to "Go therefore and make disciples" (Matthew 28:19). Our "Visitation Teams" will meet at 6:30 PM in room 228 with Pastor Cashwell to receive home visit assignments for the evening. Our goal is to share the love of Christ and His Gospel.
