Summary: Calvary Church is seeking a skilled and dependable full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the beauty, functionality, and safety of our facilities through professional upkeep and high-quality repairs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure all facility systems remain in optimal working order.
• Interior Finishing: Expertly repair and replace drywall; perform caulking, sanding, and painting to maintain a professional facility appearance.
• Hardware & Carpentry: Maintain and repair door hardware and perform general carpentry tasks as needed.
• Technical Trades: Conduct basic electrical and plumbing repairs to address facility needs promptly.
• Logistics: Safely operate motorized vehicles on and off church property for authorized Calvary business.

Safety & Teamwork Requirements

• Must strictly follow and enforce all safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of related maintenance or “handyman” experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Aptitude: Strong initiative and the ability to troubleshoot and learn new technical tasks.
