Worship Ministry
Our Worship Team is a deeply committed community of vocal and instrumental musicians, plus sound and video technicians who love worshiping God and serving together. Our purpose is to help Calvary worship in an inspiring and meaningful way — plus, we enjoy great fellowship!

We’re welcoming new members in January!
Our Calvary choir, orchestra, band, and tech team (audio/video) are composed of Calvary members (high school age and up) who serve in our Sunday worship services. We sing and play a diverse range of musical styles, striving for excellence in all we do. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings (September through May) from 6:30 to 8:00 PM and grow together through prayer and community.We accept new vocalists, instrumentalists, and audio/video technicians in January and September. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, a member of Calvary Church, possess some skill in vocal or instrumental music, or have audio/video experience, have a heart for worship, and desire to serve in a dynamic worship team, we invite you to begin the process!

Student Worship Ministry
Choirs, Band, One Voice, & Orchestra
Student Worship Choir
Our Student Worship Choir (grades 6–12) sings in worship services and special concerts throughout the year. All middle and high school students are welcome — no audition is required. Come sing with us!
Students will rehearse in the Choir Room on selected Sunday afternoons from 5:00 to 5:50 PM before evening worship services.2026 Rehearsal Schedule:

One Voice
One Voice vocal ensemble (grades 10–12) is an auditioned group that sings as scheduled on Sundays during worship services and special concerts. Rehearsals are on Sundays at 4:00 PM about twice per month.
IGNITE Band
The IGNITE Band and Vocal Team (grades 8–12) lead worship for IGNITE on Wednesday nights from September to May. If you play an instrument, sing, or run tech, and want to help lead your peers in worship, consider joining our team!
Student Orchestra
Our Student Orchestra is for students (grades 8–12) who have played an instrument for two or more years. We invite you to use your musical talent to glorify God in worship at Calvary.
Calvary College Choir
Calvary College Choir is for university students who wish to use their musical talent to glorify God in worship at Calvary. Students are invited to serve year-round or when home for semester and summer breaks!

Kids Choir
Grades 1–5
Register now!In Calvary Kids Choir, children in grades 1–5 learn to worship our great God while developing musical skills and knowledge of basic music theory and techniques. We sing in worship services and special concerts throughout the year.
We rehearse during scheduled Sunday evening services at 6:00 PM. We will NOT meet every Sunday. Given our limited schedule, please plan to attend every rehearsal.

Wee Praisers
Choir for Age 4 – Kindergarten
Register now!Preschool children four years old (by 11/30/25) through kindergarten are invited to join the Wee Praisers choir!
We learn to sing and worship God while discovering the basics of music theory and techniques. We sing in worship services and special concerts throughout the year.
Rehearsals are scheduled for Sunday evening services at 6:00 PM. We will NOT meet every Sunday. Due to our limited schedule, please plan to attend every rehearsal.

Organ Concerts
Thank you for your interest in the Calvary Grand Organ concert series.
The monthly Thursday morning concerts are free and open to everyone! Join us at 11:00 AM in the Calvary Sanctuary. Dates coordinate with our Senior Adult Luncheon schedule.
We invite you to enjoy classics, hymns, and favorite arrangements presented by Calvary organist Elizabeth Hildebrand.

Providing audio & video supportIt takes a great volunteer team of sound, lighting, and video technicians working together to produce our worship services and support the many ministry events throughout the week at Calvary.
We can train you to operate the audio consoles, operate cameras, run the video switcher, use presentation software, and run the lighting console. If you are interested in and well-qualified for these areas, please contact us about current opportunities.

Calvary Worship CDs
The Calvary Choir and Orchestra have recorded two live worship CDs: Worship at Calvary and Unending Songs. Both CDs are available for purchase in the Word Room, and Unending Songs is also available here on iTunes.
Our NextGen Worship Director, Chelsea Hathaway Jones, has released her first worship CD, Restored, featuring her own music and lyrics. Get it in the Word Room bookstore.
