In February 2006, Dr. John Munro, with his wife, Gudny, accepted the call to serve at Calvary Church. As Senior Pastor, John has become our beloved Preacher of Grace and Shepherd of Souls. Through his preaching, tens of thousands have heard God’s Word with power and clarity, and many have trusted in Christ as Savior. Countless more have been strengthened in their faith, comforted through suffering and loss, and encouraged as they walk with the Lord. The Calvary flock has grown, as together we’ve focused on the mission: “To be and make authentic followers of Jesus Christ.”
On Sunday, February 1, we will celebrate 20 years of ministry at Calvary with John and Gudny Munro. The Calvary choir and orchestra will lead us in worship with great songs of faith and thanksgiving. We’ll hear testimonies of God’s faithfulness, and the Session will make a special presentation to the Munros on behalf of our leadership and congregation.
You’re invited to gather with us for this special worship service at 9:45 AM. It’s going to be a wonderful time of celebration, and we want you to be a part of it and invite others. Join us as we give thanks to the Lord for His provision and blessings, and praise Him for all He will do in the future at Calvary Church!
