1 Samuel
September 8 – December 16
The book of 1 Samuel is a witness to how God uses flawed humanity to accomplish His purpose. We will explore that sovereignty as we visit the familiar stories of Hannah, Samuel, Saul, and David. This line-by-line study will explore a backstory that ultimately points to the coming Messiah. These ancient words reveal divine history while showing us God at work for humanity. Join us via Zoom.

Joshua
September 14 – December 7
We open the book of Joshua when God’s people are ready to enter the promised land. Joshua assumes the leadership role from Moses and guides them with the themes of faithfulness and obedience to the Lord. They secure the land, divide it among the tribes, and settle in. God keeps His promise! This is a verse-by-verse study, with lessons emailed a week in advance. Open discussion is welcome. The group meets in person and via Zoom.

Exodus
September 14 – December 21
The book of Exodus recounts how God shaped Israel into a nation and called them to be His treasured possession. Highlights include the calling of Moses, the miraculous deliverance of God’s people from bondage, the giving of the Ten Commandments, and the establishment of the Mosaic Law. We’re using the Navigator LifeChange Exodus study guide, which draws out rich insights and applications for God’s people today.

Revelation, Part 2
September 8 – November 17
We will start with a brief overview of the first chapters of the amazing journey of the Apostle John from the island of Patmos through the seven churches in Turkey (Part 1) up through the door into heaven and the incredible future events (Part 2). The textbook, Exalting Jesus in Revelation, by Daniel Akin, is available in class or on Amazon.com.

Join us as we study the Word of God, from “In the Beginning” in Genesis 1:1 to “Amen” in Revelation 22:21. We are exploring the Bible consecutively, book by book. You can join us at any time. We use the study guide, Bible Workbook, and Guide by Brian Gugas. You may purchase your copy HERE.
