Tame Your Thoughts:
Three Tools to Renew Your Mind and Transform Your Life

by Max Lucado
Teacher: Betty Farynyk & Lauren Allen | Room 240 (in person only)

When was the last time you awakened to a swirl of anxious, out-of-control thoughts, perhaps caused by worry, fear, or guilt? The way we think directly impacts our joy and peace. In this study, we’ll learn three biblical and practical tools to help us ‘be transformed by the renewal of our minds’ (Romans 12:2). Taming our thoughts will transform our lives! Our time together will include discussion, a video, fellowship, and prayer. Cost: $12

When God Doesn’t Fix It:
Learning to Walk in God’s Plans Instead of Our Own

by Laura Story
Teacher: Rometa Arrington | Room 222 & Zoom

Is it possible that good things can come out of our broken dreams? Can we find joy and a deeper intimacy with Jesus? In this study, we will learn how God used crises in the lives of people such as Abraham, Sarah, David, and Paul to bring them closer to Him and set them on the path He wanted them to take. We will also learn how God used each of these individuals despite their flaws and brokenness. Your situation might not ever change or get better… but with Jesus, you can! Cost: $7

Jesus, the Author and Perfector of Our Faith (Hebrews 11–13)
by Kay Arthur
Teacher: Jackie Schaffer | Room 226 & Zoom

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. What incredible words written to a group of persecuted Hebrew Christians. Faith… What does it mean to you? What exactly does the Bible tell us about the heroes of the faith, like Abraham, Moses, David, and the prophets? And how is Jesus the perfect example of faith? We know that without faith it is impossible to please God, but what is this faith? Where do I get it? And what does it look like lived out in my life? Join us to fix your eyes on Jesus and run with endurance to the finish line of the race set before you! Cost: $16

Now And Not Yet
by Ruth Chou Simons
Women of Purpose
Teacher: Angie Hyman & Rebecca Champlin | Room 227 (in person only)

When we cannot make sense of the “big picture” trajectory of our lives and wonder how our “right now” stories will turn out in the end, we need to be reminded that God IS at work and He is faithful! In this study, we will look into the Word of God and explore six ways to combat the tension of living in a not-yet-resolved, not-yet-fruitful, not-yet-clear, or not-yet-wonderful season of life. Through the stories of Abraham, Joseph, Israel, Hannah, and Paul, we will see the profound ways God has made His faithfulness known. Cost: $17

Evening Classes

Jesus In Me
by Anne Graham Lotz
Teacher: Eve Kennedy-Updike | Room 228 (in person only)

In this interactive study, we will discover why the Holy Spirit is essential to the Christian life and how He speaks to us through the pages of Scripture. Together, we’ll explore how His presence guides our daily decisions, strengthens our faith, and helps us walk in obedience and grace. We’ll also reflect on the Holy Spirit as our Helper, Comforter, and Intercessor — faithfully guiding and supporting us through every season of life. As we learn how to apply these truths in practical ways, come ready to share, grow, and be encouraged as we discover what it truly means to live each day with “Jesus In Me.” Cost: $16

1 Samuel — Part 2
by Max Lucado
Teacher: Cheri Strahm | Room 234 & Zoom

The book of I Samuel is filled with examples for us — some to imitate, others to avoid. This study focuses on David’s life-on-the-run from Saul and shows how God led David through both trials and victories. We will see King Saul’s downward spiral, Abigail’s struggle with a self-centered husband, and David’s action when his family was kidnapped by the Amalekites. Through all the suspense of 1 Samuel, God reveals Himself to us. Even if you didn’t study the first half of the book with us, you’ll be enlightened and encouraged by God’s protection of His people in part two of 1 Samuel. Cost: $10
