Our College Ministry and Young Adult Ministry are committed to living out the Gospel and building an authentic community through worship, the study of God’s Word, discipleship, outreach, and serving.

College students and young adults (ages 18–25) meet every Sunday at 11:15 AM in Room 200 for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.Whether in school, working in the area, or at home for weekends, holidays, and summers, stay connected to your community at Calvary and grow as an authentic follower of Jesus with us.

“Defending Truth in College”

Join Pastor John Munro and Pastor Andrew McIntyre to grapple with life’s big questions and explore how to defend the truth of the Gospel on your college campus.As Christians, we are constantly surrounded by competing voices, whether online, in the classroom, or in everyday conversations. In a world filled with alternative “truths,” how can we live boldly and help others see that Christ is “the way, and the truth, and the life”?
This seminar will be a meaningful time of teaching, worship, and fellowship. The morning will begin with coffee, worship, and prayer before we enter the opening session with Pastor Munro, titled “Jesus Is the Truth,” focusing on the truthfulness and authority of Scripture and why Jesus is the only way to eternal life.
Lunch will be provided midday, with plenty of time for fellowship and connection.In the afternoon, we’ll hear from Pastor McIntyre in our second session, “Gospel Engagement.” We must understand the Gospel message and be able to articulate it accurately. With a working definition of the Gospel in place, we’ll address various counterfeit gospels, including atheism, Moralistic Therapeutic Deism, New Age Spirituality, mysticism, Mormonism, Islam, and Jehovah’s Witnesses, followed by another opportunity for discussion.
The seminar will conclude with a Q&A, which will allow participants to ask questions, process the teaching, and reflect as a group.
