2026 Missions Projects

Calvary Church is committed to reaching the world for Christ. Your faithful and generous weekly giving will fund these special missions projects in 2026.

Calvary provides materials and financial resources for global outreach opportunities, ministry development, special projects, and humanitarian aid through our missionary partnerships and agencies. Ongoing priorities include translating Scripture, planting churches, training pastors, printing and distributing Bibles, and evangelizing in closed-access countries.

Below are some of our projects this year:

Church Addition // Kazakhstan
Calvary continues to support the outreach ministry of Sergey and Svetlana Kadyrkulov through the construction of an outdoor recreation center, providing a welcoming space to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children, youth, and students through sports outreach, Bible studies, and evangelism.

Church Building // Philippines
Missionaries Philip and Vina LeRoux have been translating Scripture, teaching Christ’s salvation story, and planting a church with the Agutaynen people on a remote island in the Philippines. Now it is time for a church building! This island is so remote that local boats will transport the building materials.

Ifugao Project // Philippines
This long-term church-planting and discipleship effort, led by missionaries Michael and Garet Gatawa, funds ten full-time indigenous pastors, training them to lead self-sustaining congregations and reach their communities. Calvary provides motorbikes to help the pastors travel more effectively in this mountainous region.

Bible Translation // Wycliffe Bible Translators
Calvary is actively engaged in Bible translation in Tajikistan, Central Asia, India, Colombia, tribal Brazil, and tribal Mexico. These projects are often code-named in the closed-access areas with little Christian witness.

Bible Translation // Kyrgyzstan
Calvary supports a Bible translation project through supported missionaries, Ravshan and Nazdiana, in Kyrgyzstan, helping make God’s Word accessible to predominantly Muslim communities through Scripture in their heart language.

Trauma Healing Conferences // SIM
Calvary missionaries David and Nancy Writebol equip church leaders to use Scripture and sound mental health principles to biblically care for victims of personal and global trauma, including trauma created by wars, conflict between people groups, civil disturbances, crimes, natural disasters, and epidemics.

Muslim Outreach // SIM
Our ministry partners are training Kenyan pastors and using a missionary-led medical clinic to share Jesus and start churches among Muslim refugees.

Training Pastors International
Calvary underwrites Pastor Training Institutes each year with missionaries John and Jennifer Balmer, helping pastors develop and disciple churches in Africa and Asia.

Bible Distribution
Calvary provides Bibles to students in local public schools, international students in our ESL programs, and people worldwide through various ministry projects.

Missionary Support & Care
In addition to the monthly support our missionaries receive through the General Fund Offering, Calvary helps meet our missionaries’ emergency needs throughout the year.
