Weekend Audio Engineer
Part-Time

Calvary Church offers this opportunity for a part-time weekend audio engineer for the Sunday service(s). This position will be responsible for monitors, FOH, or livestream audio (only one task per service), related sound checks, and mid-week rehearsal. Audio engineer reports to the Technical Director.

Working Hours: Varies — typically 6-8 hours per week, as needed for worship services and special events.

Requirements: A committed Christian who is comfortable working in a church environment with the following qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Background in sound engineering, studio work, production, or related field
• Ministry experience is preferred
• Experience with AVID S6L consoles is preferred
• Current with the current best practices of sound engineering

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Work well with the worship team to execute the weekend services at a high level
• High degree of initiative, accountability, attention to detail, and promptness.
• Prompt and supportive response to feedback from the Technical Director, Worship Pastor, or leader.
• Good problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and avoid potential problems before they happen
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing conditions calmly under the pressure of a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and cooperatively as part of a team
• Ability to maintain constructive, positive relationships with co-workers
• Professional attitude and appearance; positive spirit and enthusiasm
