Our Location
Calvary Church is located at the corner of Highway 51 and Rea Road in South Charlotte.
The main entrance is on Rea Road, directly across from the South County Regional Library.
We gather for worship on Sundays at 9:45 AM in the Sanctuary.
We also have Sunday evening services at 6:00 PM as scheduled, as well as special holiday worship services and concerts throughout the year.
At Calvary, we’re blessed to have a large campus that supports a wide variety of activities and ministries. See some of the highlights below!

Our Sanctuary is where we worship our Savior together each Sunday. It seats about 5,000 and includes two balconies. The massive floor-to-ceiling windows are a striking feature, flooding the room with sunlight or reflecting candlelight during Christmas Eve services.
In 2019, we renovated the Sanctuary — updating the paint, floor tile, and carpet, refurbishing the pews, adding platform ADA access, expanding the baptistery, and upgrading the lighting.
The Calvary Grand Organ, built by M.P. Möller, is one of the world's largest pipe organs with 11,499 pipes. Come any Sunday to hear the organ in worship or attend one of our free monthly organ concerts.

Atrium & Galleria
The Atrium is the new main entrance of Calvary Church, completed in 2024. The entrance is visible from Rea Road (Campus Entrance #3) opposite the South County Regional Library.
The Galleria is a spacious area situated just inside the Atrium. The Galleria connects to the Sanctuary, Welcome Center, Prayer Room, The Gathering café, and the Word Room bookstore. It also connects the corridors leading to our Chapel, Calvary Life Center, elevators, classrooms, and other meeting spaces.
Are you planning to be at Calvary on Sunday morning? We'd love to meet you after the 9:45 AM service in the Welcome Center. Our host team has a small welcome gift for you!

Chapel
The Calvary Chapel sits next to the Sanctuary, right inside the Highway 51 entrance. It seats 350, and we use it often for weddings, funerals, and prayer meetings. The Chapel was refurbished in 2023.

The Gathering uses only cashless transactions; no tips are accepted. Please enjoy food and beverages in the café area. Food and drinks are not permitted inside the Calvary Sanctuary and Chapel. The Gathering is closed during worship services. Thank you!

The Word Room
BookstoreLocated in the Galleria, the Word Room bookstore offers Bibles, Christian books, children’s books, greeting cards, gifts, and Calvary logo drinkware. Pastor Munro’s books are also available.
The Word Room is open:
- Sunday mornings, 8:30 AM–1:00 PM, before and after the 9:45 worship service
- Sunday evenings, before and after the 6:00 PM services as scheduled, September – May
- Tuesdays from 9:00 AM–12:30 PM
- Wednesdays from 4:00–8:30 PM, during our Elective Bible Studies schedule, September – May
Beginning in September 2026, all transactions will be cashless. The Word Room accepts debit and credit card payments.

Magnolia Memorial Gardens
